Not Enough Memory error when communicating with the LF SDK for basic requests

SDK
asked on January 5, 2023

Basic remote requests to the LF SDK are returning:

Not enough memory is available to complete this request

Examples of calls throwing this error are Session.Login and Server.GetRepositories.  The same calls to the SDK are working fine from the Laserfiche server.  The error appears to be named SEC_E_INSUFFICIENT_MEMORY.  All the information I can find on this error relate to authentication.  Is there possibly a config setting on one of the LF services that could be changed to get around this error?

Thanks,

Eric

Are you trying to authenticate using Windows credentials? If the user has a complicated token (e.g. belongs to a lot of groups) It could be that you are running into this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/windows-security/kerberos-authentication-problems-if-user-belongs-to-groups. I don't know if the registry change they describe will help, but it's worth a try. Are you on a recent version of Laserfiche?

If that doesn't resolve it, I'd suggest opening a support case.
