Is there a way to use TRM without using the cutoff process?  We are a local government just recently getting started with Laserfiche.  We have TRM and have set up retention schedules and record series as designed.  The two departments who have started using LF so far have a tremendous backlog of files to scan in, one department alone has scanned in close to 29,000 documents in slightly over 4 months.  Both departments intend to perform record management actions twice a year, at the start of the calendar year and at the start of the fiscal year (July). Neither department wants the cutoff step.  It is seen as more of a burden than a help.  We'd like records to be eligible for disposition at the appropriate time based on the RM schedule, but not have to undergo the cutoff process first. Is this possible, and if so, how?  If we can't eliminate that step, is there a way to allow new record entries to folders that have been cutoff?
