Question

Breadcrumb showing up top, but no words in the trail

asked on December 29, 2022

Hello,

We noticed in our WebLinks, the breadcrumb trail at the top of the screen is on, but there are no words, only the carrots. If you click in between the carrots, it navigates to the appropriate folder, there are just no words. For example, instead of "> Folder> Sub Folder> Sub Sub Folder>", we see ">         >          >           >" has anyone else experienced this? If so, any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks.

Go into C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\WebLink\WebLink\Web Files\Custom\CustomWebLinkStyles.css and check the color value associated with

.breadcrumbEntry a

By default it should be #202020. Check to see if the color might have gotten set to a different value. If it did, change it back to #202020 and save the file. Then back in WebLink, refresh the page and see if that makes the breadcrumb links visible again.

If you click and drag your mouse across them, does it highlight any words?

Yes, nice catch! I tried changing font colors, but doesn't seem to be making a difference. When I try the "preview" in the WebLink designer, the words show up correctly, but when I go to the WebLink normally, they are gone again. Do you happen to know which font color settings affect this?
