LaserVM 11 - 2022 Q3 - Windows Administrator

Hi Community,

I just install the latest LaserVM 11 - 2022 Q3 - Unlicensed.

I left the vm administrator account unlock until the account is in lock state.

When I click the account, it prompt a password authentication.

May question is, where to find or who I will ask for the credential of LaserVM administrator.

 

Please see the file attached.

Hi Rafael,

You can use the password l (lowercase "L") for this account. Please let us know if you have any other questions about using the VM.

Sorry for late response. Thank you on that.

I would like to know if LaserVM 11 - 2022 Q3 - Unlicensed can register to a vmware ESXI version: 6.5.0? When I try to register it I got an error.

Hi Rafael,

The VM was designed and tested to be run using VMware Player, with a minimum requirement of VMware Player 15.0. We haven't tested registering it with ESXI, so I can't confirm that it will work. It may be possible to convert the VM to a format that could be used, but that would fall beyond our area of expertise. If that is something you are interested in, I would recommend referring to VMware's documentation for more specific information on the format they require.

Can I know the password of LaserVM 11 - 2022 Q3  SQL Server "sa" Authentication?

Hi Rafael, the password is the same as the username for that account ("sa").

Hi Adeyemi,

Please try "localhost\SQLEXPRESS" or "LASERVM\SQLEXPRESS" as the server name when connecting to SQL on the demo VM. If you are ever unsure of which SQL server name to use, you can launch SQL Server Management Studio on the VM and copy the server name from the login screen that will appear.
