Forms: Draft in Inbox throws error "The requested form does not exist LFF310-NoFormFound" when they go to open it

asked on December 14, 2022

Hello,

Customer reach out with the following issue:

"We recently enabled saving a draft of one of our lengthier internal Laserfiche forms.  When saving a draft, using the email link to get to the draft works; however, for a user logged into Forms going to the same draft within forms under Inbox, Drafts fails as when you click on the link to the draft, you get a Server 500 error."

Customer is on Laserfiche Forms Professional version 10.4.1.254

Appreciate any feedback,

Jeff Curtis

Hi Jeff,

I've searched internally and found related bug (344025), the issue was on Forms 10.4.1.254 but resolved at 10.4.1.255, which is the official release version for Forms 10.4.1 Update 3 (https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014328/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-4-1-update-3).

Could you ask customer to uninstall previous Forms update (from control panel -> view installed updates) and update to 10.4.1 Update 3 with installer from above link, and try again?

On the other hand, do you know where did customer get the version 10.4.1.254? I would like to double check currently there is no wrong version is publicly available.

Hello Ziyan,

Customer is not sure of where they received the version, as their LF Admin recently retired.

Can't the customer just update forms over the top of .254, as I have never heard a request to remove an update, but just run the new update over the top.

Thanks,

Jeff Curtis

Hello Ziyan,

A Co-Worker of mine pointed out the note in the KB article you provided, that we would need to uninstall .254 then install .255 as updating over the top of .254 will not work.

I will work with the customer to do this and let you know if this resolved the issue.

Thanks,
Jeff Curtis
