Weblink: Unable to see annotation on a TIFF

Hello,

Customer reached out to state they are unable to view annotations applied to a TIFF via their LF Windows Client, when viewing the TIFF's in Weblink.

This issue happens in both their Internal Weblink (10.2.0.264) and External Weblink (11.0.2111.77).

Process they have in place for these TIFF's is as follows:

  • We have a form that saves into the repository and configured to Save as TIFF.
  • That TIFF that the form saves is later annotated using the Laserfiche Windows client.
  • The annotations appear fine when opening the TIFF with the Laserfiche client in the repository, but do not appear when viewing the same TIFF in Weblink.

I have tested this on my Weblink 11 (Same version as the customers) and I don't appear to have this issue.

Is the same user logging in through the Windows Client and WebLink? If not, does the user logging into WebLink have the right to see annotations on these documents?

Issue was with the Weblink account not having "See Annotation" rights.
