Suppress Template Fields When Using DocView URL

asked on December 12, 2022

Hi all,

I'm displaying a repository file in a LF form iFrame.  Is there any way to suppress the display of the template fields?

If you're following this - I think that the small View Mode may get you what you are looking for

There is not a control to manage the panes such as hiding the Templates and Fields.

What I have found through is that using the mode=embed in my URL gives a better look in the iframe than the whole Laserfiche interface

example URL here

https://ServerName/laserfiche/browse.aspx?db=dbName#&mode=embed

Many thanks for the replies.  Both of those URLs does still display the "Detail" pane (albeit collapsed) and so is still exposing the template fields.  What I ended up using is this which doesn't include the "Detail" pane, seems to work

https://MyServer.MyOrg.com/laserfiche/edoc/MyRepository/99999/MyFile.pdf

You cannot hide the Panes, but you could hide the Fields through Security.

When using the WebClient in the iframe the document remains secured by LF access rights and priviligeses.

Not sure if that is true when using the path off the server.

Interesting point, I will explore that.
