The risk in running any code or application is that it came from a malicious agent. You wouldn't normally store documents like that in a Laserfiche repository, so you might want to include that kind of awareness in your users' security training. Laserfiche does not currently have a way to exclude types of files by extension, though this is an idea that has come up before.
