How long is Cloud Forms process instance history retained?

The help file did not mention how long Forms business process instance history is retained.  Where is this information found?

There is currently no set retention period. However, you should not assume the history will be kept forever. Any relevant data that is intended to be kept for extended periods of time should be saved as documents to the repository.

I heard that it is currently kept forever with no automated removal instance history or attachments. Just like on-prem default configuration.

The configuration to have automated retention should be coming soon.
