This may seem like a very basic question, but can someone please explain to me what the File View toggle in the Document viewer is for?
I ask because my documents look different depending if i turn it on or off and its not always there.

The "File View" toggle switches between the Electronic Document view and the "native" page view and I believe it only appears when a Laserfiche document has both components.
For example,
If you upload a PDF and generate pages/text without removing the PDF you now have pages in addition to a PDF, so the toggle switches between them.
If you scanned a document and it only has pages, then you'll only see the native page view with no toggle option.
If you upload/import a PDF and do not generate pages/text, then you'll only see the electronic document view with no toggle option.
