Question

LFServerNotConfigured

asked on November 2, 2022

I am trying to link up Laserfiche Forms with a database in SQL Server.  I created a SQL Database in Laserfiche Forms on the Database screen.  After hitting Save, I restarted the LF Forms Routing Service, and clicked Save again with no problems.  However, when I go to the Laserfiche Forms site.  I get the error of LFF324 LFServerNotConfigured.

I'm not sure if it's related, but I thought I needed to create a repository.  After using the Create Repository Wizard, I get 9025 Error reading repository information or repository was misconfigured.  Are these two related?

Yes and no. Forms needs a Laserfiche repository configured on the Laserfiche tab of its configuration page. That's independent from specifying a database for Forms to use.

It sounds like you don't already have a repository and are trying to make one. There should be a more detailed on why creating one failed in your Event Viewer (under Application and Services\Laserfiche\ContentRepository).
