Google API Built-In Integration

asked on October 21, 2022

I love the functionality that the Google API offers but getting it implemented takes considerable work, well beyond what the average Forms builder can design.  Much like they have built-in functionality for accepting payments (BrainTree & Authorize.Net) and ReCaptcha (Google), I would love it if they built in the Google API in regards to auto-filling addresses, calculating distances, and showing maps.  Something like where in the Admin side you entered your API key (similar to how you enter your ReCaptcha key) and then you could setup lookup rules on fields to utilize the Google API as the data source.  This built-in functionality would be incredibly useful for both the On-Premise and Cloud versions, allowing users to easily take their Forms to the next level.  Is there any talk and/or planning of building in integration like this with the Google API or some other system?

Hi Beau, do you know if any progess has been made on this.

I am on Cloud and have used the classic designer to pull a map from google into a form using iframe using code generated by google.

What I want to be able to do in any form designer or method is create the map using longitude and latitude from variables I have in a table query

With thanks for anything you know.

Peter

Unfortunately not that I have heard or been able to find.  Currently we must use the Classic Designer if we want to tie into any 3rd party API's.
