We came across a scenario where a public entity working in Cloud's Web Client wanted to provide a link to a public portal user. In order to achieve this they had to copy the document ID into a different URL and then send it to the public user to access via the public portal. 

We thought it might make more sense to have Laserfiche incorporate an option in the client to "Copy Public Portal URL" similar to the existing "Copy URL" currently available.
