The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn uses the HP Universal Scan drivers, either "Full Feature" or "Basic Feature" versions.

The "Basic Feature" version's description is "This is the minimum Scan Software solution which provides basic Scan functionality, WIA and Twain support."

The "Full Feature" version certainly includes those at minimum.

The MFP spec sheet linked from this page lists:
"Scan Input Modes: Front-panel scan, copy, email, or file buttons; HP Scan software; and user application via TWAIN or WIA"

To conclude, this MFP with either Full or Basic driver packages will work with Laserfiche Scanning. You should use the TWAIN driver option as in our experience Laserfiche Scanning has the fewest issues with TWAIN drivers.
