Question

date enforce two digits in formula

asked on October 11, 2022

I have a formula in a field that contcatenates the year, month and day. it pulls from the date field which is formatted yyyy-MM-dd. I needed to remove the hypens for a report that is fed into another program. It does not maintain a two digit format when it pulls the month. is there a way to enforce this?

Example:

2022-09-25 currently turns into 2022925 instead of 20220925.

I checked the variable page for an instance and it is only saving as one digit.

I managed to search a few different ways in Answers and managed to find a solution. It just didn't pop up the first time I looked.
