Good morning,

I am trying to create/download a pdf from a web service.
Unfortunately, the result I am getting is an XML file.

My Workflow here:

The result in Web access:

If I then download the file to my desktop, I can rename the file (removing the aspx extension) and it opens in Acrobat as expected.

The issue is that Laserfiche is treating the file as an aspx stream of text, when I need it to be an PDF file showing up with the PDF icon in the repository (ie Laserfiche knows it is a PDF file).

I have viewed this similar question here but don't know if it was ever resolved. I don't think I have access to the Custom Script option (and even if I did I think I would be out of my depth).

I'm guessing part of the problem is getting my head around the difference between a Laserfiche File, an Electronic File, A file with Pages, and the text stream that the GET request returns.

Could anyone suggest the best way forward?

Thank you.
