I can see in your video that it is redirecting to an internal address for the LFDSSTS. A dot local address.

I think you need an external facing address for your LFDSSTS.

Jonathan is correct. You need an STS instance accessible in your DMZ for the public-facing site and to update the public site to use that one instead of the local one.

Thanks everyone. We had this working previously.

Not sure what the above means since we had one of our IT specialists set this up for us. I will forward this info to him.

The only change would be that the wildcard certificate for the domain had expired. This was several weeks ago, but we hadn't had any reason to log into external laserfiche forms URL until recently.

Could the certificate expiration also a cause of the error in redirecting?

It should related to the certificate expiration. You need to get a new certificate and reconfigure the external STS and Forms follow following links:
