We upgraded to V11. Now we are having intermittent issues where the search in Weblink returns a list of documents but the images are not viewable. After restarting IIS and the APP pool images are presented correctly.

The way it's failing suggests something is going wrong with the export and caching process. There should be more information in the event viewer on the WebLink server machine.
We are having the same issue since we upgraded to Weblink 11..
As a short-term fix, we created a new application pool for just the public weblink portal.
Added Specific Times to Recycle the Application Pool. 11 pm and 4 pm. Our portal works for a couple of hours then we get the error above.
We set our Recycling (Regular Time Interval) at 120 Minutes. Default was 1740.
Once we made that adjustment we were good.
Did you open a Support Case with your Solution Provider? If yes, was any progress made finding the cause of the issue?
Hi Blake,
Yes, we have been working with our solution provider. We have tried a variety of tasks they have recommended but the error remains the same.
1. Updated WeblinkControlls.dll and Weblink.dll
2. Created a new AppPool just for public-facing weblink portal
3. IIS > Application Pool > WeblinkAppPool > Advanced Settings… > Change the "Regular Time Interval" to 1000
4. Created Pool Recycled Schedule restart 11 pm and 4 pm
5. Created the Robots.txt to disallow all
We just submitted our event logs waiting for update.
Michael Mick that is an aggressive schedule to restart your app pool every 2 hours.
We never had this issue with older versions of weblink just version 11. I would like to get a solution before I reached that point.
I have a customer with this exact same behavior. After upgrading to version 11, tif images fail to load until the application pool is restarted. I have set the app pool to restart several times a day but still run into this issue.
Has there been any resolution?
We haven't had enough information to reproduce the failure in our testing environments, so it's likely the behavior is the same in the latest release. It would be helpful to get the application logs attached to a support case.
Has this problem been resolved? We were planning to upgrade from Weblink 10.2 to version 11 merely for the improvements in the Designer that I've been told were made, but seeing this issue makes me question whether we should wait to upgrade.
The Recycle pool has been the only resolution for us.
I just submitted a ticket to our var and requested it go straight to Laserfiche proper. I'd like to add to the list.
Our issue began after we patched our servers 2 nights ago. Another twist to the story..
Chris,
Next week we will be applying Weblink 11 Update 3 - KB1014465 which I was told should fix the issue.
We never had this issue with Weblink version 10.
Thanks, is Update 3 different that what is the WebLink download?
We are running 11.0.2303.1404 currently. What about you?
Update 3 is not a full install but a patched to update your weblink 11 installation.
Our Current Version 11.0.2205.950

Looks like update 3 is version
I'll update my support ticket to say "why the heck isn't update 3 part of the current version of web link download?" ha ha
Looks like the version did not change after Update 3 so the issue is still there.
Laserfiche WebLink Version: 11.0.2303.1404

EDIT: looks like my web files for this specific site are not in the WebLink folder in program files. So they aren't getting updated. That's likely the issue.
Sorry about that Chris,
Forgot to mention that.
The default folder Installation
C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Weblink\Web Files
you will need to copy and paste the patched files to the web directory you created if you are not using the default web folder.
yep that's what it is. It won't let me run the repair on it, so I'm going to wait until off hours tomorrow to uninstall and reinstall WebLink and then run update 3 on it. Thanks for the assist! Super helpful.
