Size Limit on Certain Folders

Hi,

Is there a way to set size limits on certain record files in Laserfiche? We have essential non-records and some of the files are getting out of control. Thank you.

Hi Lynn,

 

I think the short answer to this is this isn't possible, however you could have a workflow setup to query the size of a document upon creation or changes and than make a decision based on that (maybe alert the user or IT?)

While probably not exactly what you're looking for, Laserfiche Forms file upload fields do support a maximum file size option that defaults to 250 MB. If you have large files coming into your repository through Forms, that's likely the best way to restrict them.
