Feature Request: See How Forms Evaluates Conditions

asked on August 9, 2022 Show version history

In Laserfiche Workflow you are able to open an instance and go to the Conditions tab and see how Workflow evaluated the different conditions. It would be great if when looking at an instance in Forms you could do the same thing for events that have conditions so you could see how the condition was evaluated and ended up taking a specific path.

I envision this looking very similar to how you can click on a Workflow event in Forms when viewing an instances history and it shows you all the variable values that were passed back from Workflow. Instead it would be for any event or task that has a condition and show you how it was evaluated.

We've got similar feature request before, we will increase the priority of it when we plan for future release.

We want this feature too. In Version 12 Forms is not following the conditions as configured. We can see the value of the variable does not match the condition but the path is followed anyways and that no other variable modification tasks exist after the condition to change the variable.

With the current monitor options all we can see is that the system thinks that the text FALSE = TRUE

I want to see the system show me that FALSE = TRUE like it does in the workflow monitor condition tab.

If it was TRUE at the time of evaluation and changed to FALSE afterwards how could a repository archive task possibly change the value of a variable? It just makes no sense.
