Viewing Workflow then Close, Customer being prompted to Save, Publish, Discard, or Cancel

Hello,

Customer created a test WF server and imported all of their Production WF's to their test WF Server.

When they go to open a WF, on the test WF Server to just view, then select close, they are getting the pop-up related to a change being made, but all they did was view the WF, no edits.

This is not happening to all of the WF's but appears to be only WF's that have an Email Activity.

This issue does not occur with the same WF's on their productions WF Server.

I checked the Email Activity as well as the Email Server configured in the WF Configuration Manager and they all appear correct.

Only other thing of note, they have a 2nd Email Server listed and Enabled, along with their default Email Server.  

They have the same Email Server configurations on their production WF Server as well.

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this and if so, was there a remedy..

Hi Jeff,

This is an issue we're aware of. It's filed as Bug 272964 - Opening a workflow that contains an email activity always shows as having been modified.

The message can just be ignored.

Just looking for an update on this issue, not seeing it in any of the recent release notes (though I may just not be looking at it correctly).  Any update on this bug?  Not a huge issue, but I often have to check the 'undo' options to see if there was an actual change on a workflow, or if it's just the email activity again.
