Code being removed from Custom HTML in new forms designer

The new forms designer is removing the text <script> entered into the HTML elements. Why is this? The old forms desinger did not do this

Oh I just remembered that no scripting is allowed in the new designer, I needed to add a print button though. The new desinger makes it impossible, Ctrl+P blocks off half the form in comparison with window.print when in a user task.

Essentially. Please see Forms Designer Comparison. If you need that flavor of custom scripting, use the Classic designer for now. See Customizing a Classic Form with CSS and Javascript.

The new Forms Designer will (does?) have some scripting capability using a new Forms API as described in CSS and JavaScript in the (new) Forms Designer and The LFForm Object. I'm not actually sure those two doc pages are officially published yet so forgive any missing/broken image links.
