Cloud Web Scanning not connecting

Is Cloud Web Scanning down? I am getting this message when trying to connect and it is connected on my end, over port 18435

Hi Chad,

We're looking into the issue. In the meantime, can the issue be worked around by using one of the "Desktop scanning" options?

Please also try the following:

  1. Uninstall the Web Scanning Service and Webtools Agent applications
  2. Download the new Web Scanning Service installation package (which includes Webtools Agent)
  3. Install the package

 

Confirm if web scanning works for you again.

Has this issue been resolved? I have a user with the same problem.
