Question

This account does not have sufficient rights to download form attachments.

Dear Support,

I am seeing the below error intermittently with some users and they are losing the attachments. I can't see any settings to influence this behaviour. Is there anything I can check?

This is typically on a process with approval where they upload documents to a collection and then gets sent for approval. Users assure they are not removing the documents and I have set the option to prompt when deleting rows in Collection.

Hi Gert,

Could you elaborate when this error happened? For example, did it happen to initiator or approver or admin on downloading attachment? Which page was the attachment downloaded from?

This error doesn't necessarily mean the attachment is lost, have you checked the file upload from monitor page?

Hi Ziyan,

This happens on approval, the user uploads all relevant supporting documents and then sends for approval (form is not read-only on approval), this seems intermittent as I am not able to reproduce the error on my side. I view the task in the Monitor page and then I can see the uploads, but then I reassign the task to myself and somehow I am not able to see any documents as if it just vanished then the user typically has to upload the files again. It is a very random and intermittent issue, but I notice the approvers save as draft while adding comments and I suspect it has to do with the draft. It was only 2 users that had/has this issue.

Unfortunately I could not reproduce the error in described scenario either.

As this is an intermittent and may be not easy to reproduce, I suggest open up a support case and provide more details, like reproduce video for further troubleshooting.
