Repository files missing and workflow instance don't display records long ago

Hi all,

I found that a folder and files in my repository the year before last disappeared. How can I find it？

And for the workflow activity records, I can only look at the records of recent months. How can I see the records of the previous year?

Have you checked your repository's recycle bin? Beyond that, audit trail may help you track the document down (assuming it was turned on at the time of the deletion).

By default, Workflow only keeps records for 30 days after the instance completion.

There is no such thing in the recycle bin. I want to ask what audit trial is and where can I see it?

You read more on audit trail in the help file.

Unless you are a user with Manage Entries access, your recycle bin will only list documents deleted by your. You want to track down an admin and have them look at the global recycle bin. They may also be able to get more documents when searching as Bert suggested (just in case the documents were moved to a location you don't have access to rather than deleted).

It is also possible that someone accidentally moved the folder(s) so you may try doing an advanced search to look for entry name or field data that should be attached to something you are looking for.
