Quickfields, metadata fields being cross applied through documents

When I scan a number of documents into Quickfields it is using the same metadata for all the documents in the same class. When I go to edit the metadata in a document all the documents connected to that class get the same edits!

We are using Version 10.4 and there is already a template assigned. I ended up having to recreate the class. It was a pain, but it fixed the issue.

Please include the specific version of Quick Fields you are using, whether the fields are independent or part of a template, and whether you have a template assigned.

There is a known issue in Quick Fields 10.3, fixed in Quick Fields 11, that sounds similar to what you're reporting, but it only affected independent fields when no template was assigned. The workaround is to apply a template, I believe.

Please also contact your solution provider and, if necessary, have them open a support case with Laserfiche so that we can get more details.
