Can a workflow create or remove a user in LFDS?

This has been discussed before, in 2014 in this thread: https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/68358/Possible-to-Have-Workflow-Create-New-Laserfiche-User

If I interpreted the discussion correctly, there was no practical and reliable way to do it then. What is the situation today? The capability would still be very useful in certain situations.

We're currently still running version 10 but plan to upgrade later this year.

Hi Timothy, new activities to create, manage, and delete Laserfiche and SAML users and groups managed in Laserfiche Directory Server is supported on Workflow 12.

There's an LFDS API and SDK available now.

Thanks for the reply, Ben.

I'd like to ask one more question for clarification:

We have purchased the SDK and I've spent some time with it but don't remember an LFDS API being part of it. The way you worded your answer I got the impression that the SDK/API you're talking about is a separate product from Laserfiche. Am I correct in that understanding?

Hi Tim,

The LFDS SDK is bundled with the latest Laserfiche SDK package. You can find it in ".\en-US\LFDSSDK".

No idea, TBH. It's on my dev laptop and I don't know where it came from! I presume it's part of the standard SDK. :)
