Quick Fields: Problem with QR code recognition

Our HR folks decided to start printing QR codes on certain forms in order to scan them in Quick Fields.  In the following example I can read the QR code with my phone but Quick Fields is not reading it.  I can see that there are other possible things in the image that could interfere if it were a standard bar code, but if my phone can read it, shouldn't Quick Fields be able to read it?

Interesting.  I just tried the image you posted above in Quick Fields 11 and it worked for me.  Can you elaborate on what results you're seeing and how you're testing it?

One suggestion:
Add the troublesome page image as a new sample page (of a document class), temporarily configure the Barcode process to look on that page only, and then try the "Test current process" link in the bottom right corner.  This will help determine if it's the Barcode process itself that is failing or some other configuration issue (e.g., not being identified correctly by a document class, not looking for the barcode on the correct page, etc.).

Just did all of the above and it doesn't appear to be reading the QR code.  I tried setting the bar code identification to the whole page and also just to that region but still no results.  Using QF 11.

Yeah, you're still not quite showing me enough... 

1) Make sure your Barcode process is configured to look for QR codes (it's not, by default)
2) The processing results you're showing me are not from clicking the "Test current process" link (my mistake, failing barcode output looks really different from the successful output, so I was confused)
3) There's something off about your barcode zone name... it should be the same between the Region Selection and the Identification Condition.  Try re-selecting the token in the condition editor.

I removed the bar code zone for this new test so it should try to read from the whole page.

I've selected QR Code only:

I clicked on Test current process and it gave me blank result for the bar code:

This still works for me--please see #3 above about your barcode identification configuration. 

Otherwise... ask your Solution Provider to open a support case for you so that we can investigate further (e.g., get access to real sample documents and your session and try to reproduce your issues on our side).

#3 looks good to me; I realize there was a discrepancy when I had a bar code zone added for just that region on the right side of the document, but I removed it for that latest test.

I'll go ahead and get my VAR involved.  Thanks.

FYI...just tried it with a document that has a "clean" bar code and it worked fine.
