Forms: Repository Named User ''forms" login error "forms is not a read\write named user"

asked on June 3, 2022

Hello,

User is getting the following error when they try to log into Forms with their "forms" account.

"forms is not a read\write named user"

They are using Laserfiche Server Authentication for their Forms Config.

forms is the account listed as admin in the Authentication section.

forms account has a full license, verified in the LF Admin Console.

forms has full access to all folders/documents in the Repository.

Not sure what else to check on this one.

Appreciate the feedback,

Jeff Curtis

It is weird that there is no detailed error in Forms event log.

I've searched the error internally and seeing it may be related to invalid LFS license/corrupted lfsnu.db, while I am not an expert. So I would suggest open a support case for further investigation.

Hi Jeff,

Is 'forms' listed as valid user in Administration -> System Security page? Also, could you share the detailed error in event log when user login fails?

Hello Ziyan,

Here is the issue, customer believes the Forms account is the only one that is listed as System Administrator in Administration -> System Security.

Nothing is registered in the Forms->App->Admin or Operational Logs as well as nothing in the Content Repository->Admin Logs

Thanks,

Jeff Curtis
