weblink 11 set default search

We have a customer that recently upgraded to LF 11 and this included WebLink. In WebLink 11, every time they open the advanced search, it defaults to a "General Search"

They need to be able to default the search to a specific "Template Search" so that the user does not need to go through the process with every search.

In Grid View, we would also like to be able to set the column width by default. It resets after closing LF WebLink.

In Grid View. Field values formated as Short date "MM/DD/YYYY" are appering as Date/Time. MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS AM

Did either of you ever get these questions figured out? I'm struggling with the exact same things.

The advanced search page is incredibly powerful but it would be so much more user-friendly if you could send people there with some of the search fields already pre-populated.
