Create report of all folders and subfolders on a repository in 10.2

asked on May 25, 2022 Show version history

I am attempting to run a report against a repository in order to see what folders and subfolders are located on it. I found a way to export the results that include all documents, but not able to determine how to do this for only the Folder and Subfolders.

Researching solutions here, it appears some of the options are not available with the version I am working with, 10.2. I do not have a Generate Report option under the Task menu.

I am attempting to accomplish this within the Laserfiche client. No access to a web client version.

Any ideas how to accomplish this task within the client for Laserfiche 10.2?

I just tried this on Windows Client 10.2.

Search for all folders (I limited my search to a particular top-level folder instead of the entire repository, because it would have been a TON of records.

Once the search results are displayed, you can export them as a CSV file.

Hey Matthew, thanks for the suggestion. I have limited access to the client right now, but will certainly give this a shot when I can, as this seems to accomplish exactly what I would want.

Appreciate the detailed walkthrough!

Was able to test the above solution with the Laserfiche Client. The report has exactly what I needed.

Thank you again Matthew!
