Question

Permissions in Laserfiche Cloud to control who can Submit Forms

asked on May 25, 2022

We have a customer that would like to assign permissions over who can Submit a web form.  For example there is a loan department and there are certain loan department forms that they only want the loan department members to be able to launch and use but the other users a part of that group would not even see those particular forms. The reason being as there could be lots of forms causing clutter and could be confusing to other groups. Hoping that makes sense.

I believe I read this is on the roadmap for Laserfiche cloud but doesn't seem to be implemented yet.  Does anyone know of an ETA as to when it will be available for usage?

Hi Jason,

We are currently working on this feature and dependent on testing, should have it released in the next couple of months after 2022.06.

In the mean time, you can also look in to Process Automation Teams and Projects to see if grouping the Loan department processes within a project under the Loan team will help in organization and security as well.

Thanks!

The feature is now there in all versions now.  May have been a delay in being available in the repositories for some of our customers.

It appears that the feature has been released, I have a question on this one, it seems that is only available in the business plan and not the professional.  Is this something that will eventually make its way into the professional plan or is this something that is going to be tied to the business plan.

Thanks in advance
