I am trying to find a way to manipulate the currently edited document in word (using the sdk if I must) , so I can automate the metadata and (possibly the filename) before saving back to laserfiche using the office integration.

I know how to build and run macros, I'm just wondering if there is a way to manipulate the LF data from the document before sending it back to the server.

The same thing applies to retrieving the LF data from the document which is being edited in word, using the "edit in microsoft word" office integration feature from LF.
