In enterprises with subscription licensing that include Quick Fields the effort to manage where the licenses are installed is quite a task. With just the machine name in LFDS, I am having to use an enterprise device management utility to discover the user the machine is assigned to and if the machine still is active. As machines get replaced, we are not always notified to remove the license from a machine being decommissioned.
It would be a huge help if a displayed comment field could be added for each instance so that LFDS administrators could add a User Name or any other descriptive text to make management easier.
My 'blue sky' if it could be done request would be; for LFDS to automatically retrieve the User Name of the active account when Quick Fields is installed and display it on the Quick Fields instance.
I know that the license is checked for validity, it would also be super cool and helpful if that date could also be displayed. This would help LFDS administrators possibly identify machines that may no longer exist without having to go through all their Quick Fields instances checking each machine's existence in another utility.
