LFDS audit report on account creation

asked on April 22, 2022

I need to run some granular reporting on users automatically licensed via LFDS rules. Specifically, we've been using up a lot of licenses and I need to get some info about which of our subsidiary companies are using them up so I can verify the need or if they're getting added to the AD sync groups by mistake.

The report in LFDS gives me the information I need, but not in an easily visible/filterable way. Downloading the report as a CSV loses critical information, like the username and organization, and I can't figure out how to track down the info across the various audit tables in the LFDS database.

If anybody has info on running reports that would show when users get added and the organization that they belong to, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Pieter,

The "Event Data" column in the downloaded audit report should display much more data than just the ID (it should display pretty much everything you see in the audit reporter UI). Which version of LFDS are you using? If you open the report .CSV manually, do you see more event data?

Ah, thanks, Chase! I had to double-click into the event data cell to see that. Cool, I'll parse that out.
