Assigned/Available Item Count Not Showing After Upgrade to Version 11

asked on April 21, 2022

I'm running Forms 10.2 on our production server.

I've just begun testing Forms 11 (Update 2) on our test server with the eventual plan of upgrading the production environment once I'm comfortable with the changes and any impacts to custom Javascript, etc.

I've noticed that the item counts for Assigned/Available items are not appearing anymore.

Here's what I see in 10.2 (notice the "1" on the My Tasks and Assigned items):

Here's what I see in 11 Update 2 (there is 1 item currently assigned, but it doesn't have that "1" flag showing anywhere that I can see.

Has this functionality been removed or have I perhaps just misconfigured something necessary for it to function?

I'm really hoping I've just misconfigured something and it hasn't been removed.  Because if it has been removed, that's a bit of a downside, since that's a really good indicator that a user needs to go into the Available tab (now the "Unassigned Tasks" section) in order to claim items that are there.

Thank you.

We're on Version 11.0.2201.20436 and I still have those counters, so something else is likely causing the issue in your test environment.

Good to know it wasn't removed functionality.  I probably have something misconfigured with the notification service.  I'll dig into that.

Looks like it was a discrepancy between HTTPS and HTTP connections between Forms and the notification service.

I don't currently have anything other than a self-signed certificate on this test server, so I didn't have it fully configured for TLS.  I've tweaked a few things, and it seems to be working now.

So glad it was a configuration issue and not removed functionality!
