Question

Using syntax code to find duplicate folders with and with out documents inside

asked on April 14, 2022

We upgraded a year or so ago.  The syntax code that was left to find duplicate student folder with and without documents is no longer working.  I'm not sure where to look to find why I'm am getting an error message now. All help is appreciated.

Error Message:  An Unrecognized character was encountered [9085].

{[Student Folder]} & {LF:Name=“*(*)”, Type=“F”} - {LF:ChildName=“*”, Type=DFS}   (empty)

{[Student Folder]} & {LF:Name=“*(*)”, Type=“F”} & {LF:ChildName=“*”, Type=DF}  (with documents)

It looks like maybe that syntax was emailed because what should the straight quotes (" ") were changed to Office smart quotes (“ ”) . If you change them back to straight quotes, it should clear up the error.
