Dynamics CRM Integration

I can see that the Dynamics CRM Integration shows the ability to use the data feed in Forms Lookups and Workflow Activities but is there a way to use the field data feeds in Template Field Dynamic Fields to give an almost near real time lookup for indexing purposes?

Hi 

Is this something that could potentially be a feature request as it feels that most of the foundation is there for the Forms Lookup we could just replicate this to a Data table that can be used as a live view for Dynamic Fields which would simplify the architecture requirements for the customer.

Yes. That was actually my next step after replying, copy/paste this thread to our product managers.

You could use Workflow to get CRM data and update a lookup table periodically and use that in dynamic fields. That would get you close to the desired behavior, though not quite real-time. A nightly schedule might be palatable to users ("today's CRM changes will be available tomorrow").

Thanks Miruna this feature would be really useful for many of our clients going forward if they are considering the Cloud option and avoiding any dev from third parties to overcome this.

The next day update is not an option Im afraid as they create records in CRM and then expect to be able to proceed in laserfiche setting metadata within minutes at most.

We use a DSN Datasource from CData to provide a Live view for the Dynamic fields currently for on prem but will not be able to provide this for Cloud.
