We have various customers where we have Logical volumes with their default security setup to allow users to create documents.  These users can be the Everyone group, Laserfiche users/groups, and/or AD users/groups.  Below is an example showing the Everyone group having the "Create documents" box checked for a Logical volume that rolls over every 20,000 MB.  

However when the corresponding Physical volumes are created, all of the various users/groups receive the appropriate permissions except the "Create documents" box, which is now unchecked.  Below is one of 22 Physical volumes, created by the above Logical volume, that now have that box unchecked.

Even an account that is granted Allow for all options on the Logical volume, gets the "Create documents" option unchecked in the Physical volumes.

This does not appear to effect the operation, as all of the users/groups still have the ability to create documents within the latest Physical volume.  I know Laserfiche has functioned this way for many years but I am curious to know more about why this happens and how the security is enforced with it unchecked?
