Is it Possible to Query SQL Data via Remote Agent to do a real time DB lookup and fill out fields in Forms?

Hello

 

We have a scenario where we have recently migrated a customer from On prem to the Cloud. We had a form where we were doing a real time database lookup and it would fill out fields in Forms. Initially we were going to try and import that data as a list in 'Data Management' but there is a limitation of 10,000 rows with csv and excel files. Since then we've created a remote agent to query the data in the on prem sql db and now have a linked data source. Is it possible to use that data in filling out our form?

No. The remote agent works by pulling work from a queue in the cloud. The requests of a form lookup would not be guaranteed to be serviced in a timeframe that is acceptable to a user viewing the page.

Thanks Miruna. What is suggested when it comes to databases that have more than 10,000 rows, thats the limitation we are currently confronted with. Some of these on-prem SQL databases are also changing in realtime so uploading to LF Cloud really isn't an option that we can use.
