Workflow Invoked form not showing up in Forms Instances

I have a form process that has two workflow service tasks that are sequential.  Each one simply retrieves the business process variables, then invokes a new business process (form).  

I am testing this now, and the initiated workflows appear to be running, and the Invoke Business Process activity is running, however I am not seeing any instances in Forms.  Any suggestions?

Hi Dillan,

 

I'd firstly take a look in the windows event viewer logs for any clues. 

 

Secondly, you could try creating a workflow which just starts a process to see if the very basics are working.

 

Some further thoughts, is this something that used to work and now doesn't? Have you configured the workflow server in the forms configuration? Have you set the workflow URL's in the workflow configuration manager, do they test ok?

Turns out there was a licensing issue between our Forms server and our main Laserfiche server.  Either the hardware fingerprints or license IDs did not match.  Likely happed recently when some work was done on the server-side.

Hi Dillan,

 

Glad to hear you got to the bottom of the issue, if it helps going forward and to avoid this happening again, you can now apply something called a domain locked license from Laserfiche, which no longer uses the HWFP, but the domain as a license reference.
