We are looking to release a new feature in Process Automation called Project workspaces to address access rights in the upcoming months but are in the midst of testing right now. It will be different than how self hosted Forms specifically has been configured for access rights.
For the initial release, system administrators will be able to delegate teams to configure access rights (specifically development and viewing of submitted data) over Projects that they own. Projects can be comprised of Forms Business Processes, Surveys, Rules and Lookup Tables and within a Project you can control access to pre-existing PA resources outside of the project, such as Workflow.
Can you elaborate on exactly what your client implementation requires? This is to help us continue to expand on the feature after the initial release as we're also in the midst of planning for that. Subsequent releases will include expanding PA resources that can be included in projects as well as more granular security rights.
