Forms Reassign Task Customization

Hi, does anyone know whether it is possible to perform some custom action when reassigning task in Forms? We have a custom database which contains a list of all the submissions, the current steps it is at and who is handling task. These information are then being displayed on a custom webpage we have written. We want to see whether it is possible to insert some custom function to update the custom database on who is handling the task when it is being reassigned, any ideas would be great. Thanks.

In short Yes, IMO, assuming your custom database is ODBC compliant is the easiest.

Use LF Workflow to to do updates / Inserts to dynamically change the data in you DB as your instances move through your stages.

Thanks for your suggestion, but this would not work in our case as we need this to be real-time the moment an administrator reassigns the user handling the task in the monitor page.
