Drafts showing up in Open Tasks and Drafts

I have two different things happening.

1. The number of tasks is displaying in the Laserfiche Forms Inbox for My Tasks > Open Tasks and Unassigned Tasks but not Drafts. Is there something that needs to be setup for number of Drafts to display? 

2. For one user, the drafts are showing in Drafts and Open Tasks at the same time (both designated as "Draft"). What would cause this to happen?

This is expected behavior. Open Tasks shows the tasks assigned to the current login user only so tasks with drafts saved by current users will show as well. And Drafts shows the task drafts as well as the drafts for message start event saved by current login user.  Number of drafts will not show for Drafts tab as that tab doesn't support real-time notification which means if user current user save a draft from Open Tasks tab, it will not auto update the Drafts list to add the new draft.

They are only showing in the Open tasks and Drafts for one user. It doesn't act this way for me. Mine only show in Drafts.

Maybe you and that user have drafts for different steps.

Please check from your Drafts list whether the drafts has value for Instance column?

The drafts have value for instance column are user task drafts, so they will both show in Open Tasks and Drafts, the drafts have no value for instance column are the starting form drafts, they will not show in  Open Tasks.
