Trouble changing radio button color on saved/emailed form

asked on February 3, 2022 Show version history

I am having trouble changing the saved/emailed version of a form even after attempting what this post suggests:

https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/149452/Print--Save-to-Repository-CSS

I am trying to change the color of the checked radio button to provide higher contrast for users. It looks great during form submission, but the emailed/saved form is not as easily distinguishable.

Here's the checkboxes during submission:

And the email/saved copy:

I am just trying to make the saved form match the blue color during submission.

Please help!

It may be because the Form is read only when saved? Maybe if you allow the last user task to edit the form it will save in colour?

The issue is that there is no user task in the process, just a save to repository task and email notification. I tried adding a user task and allowed editing of the form, but the email notification at the end of the process still sent out the "read-only" version of the form with the radio buttons greyed out.

You can use your form in a message start event and enable show submitted form for the message start event, then run the process and submit a form and check from submitted form on thank you page to see why your CSS doesn't take effect. The submitted form on thank you page is same as the form for save to repository which is in read-only mode.

Is there any way to make the "read only" mode darker when the pdf is generated to save the form in the repository or as an email attachment?

Hi Angela,

What element do you want to make it  "darker"? The background, a specific field or other things?

Were you ever able to get this to work?
