Question

How do you create first user for repository?

asked on February 3, 2022

Using Laserfiche 10.4. I've installed everything I think I need. I log into the Admin Console with system manager account. I create a repository. But how do I create a user to access the repository? I can't create an user using this guide because I need to be able to log into the repository in the first place which I don't have access to: https://doc.laserfiche.com/laserfiche.documentation/11/administration/en-us/Subsystems/LFAdmin/Content/Creating_a_User.htm#tabs-1 . I understand I can't log in with my systems manager. Is there a way to manage users within Laserfiche that I am missing?

I try to add a new Repository Named User but get a "Trustee not found [9012]" error.

Error Code: 9012
Error Message: Trustee not found. [9012]

Newly created repositories have a default user called "admin" with no password. You should be able to log in that way.
