QF Agent Admin Console: Scheduled Sessions throwing "Permission Denied [9013]" error

posted on February 1, 2022

Hello,

Customer has created three QF Scheduled Sessions in the QF Agent Admin Console.

Each time they schedule to run the sessions, it runs then throws the "Permissions Denied" error.  Sessions does not even run for 1 second and errors out:

We have checked and the account (Windows) that is running the QF Server Service on the server is an account that has permissions to the folder in Laserfiche.

If we run any of these sessions manually with the QF Agent using the same account, the sessions run without issue.

QF Agent and Server and Agent are on the same server, customer's WF Server.

LFS is on a different server.

I checked the install folders for QF and the same account has full permissions to both QF Agent and QF Server folders.

Scratching my head at what I could be missing... :)

Appreciate the feedback,

Jeff Curtis

Is your session set to log into Laserfiche with Windows Authentication? If not, then the service account is not relevant.

Does the user logging into Laserfiche have rights to the documents it tries to retrieve (assuming Capture Engine) and any metadata it may retrieve?

If you have Audit Trail, it may give you a better indication of what the session was doing when it for the "permission denied" error.

As a side note, running Quick Fields Agent on the Workflow Server may cause performance issues as Quick Fields can be CPU and disk-intensive.

Hello Miruna,

Since we changed the service to use the Domain Service account that has rights to the documents, we are no longer getting a 9013 error and the session does try to run, but there is a new error "The zone is outside the bounds of the image", which I believe is related to DPI for the scanned images that does not match the sample image, so I am following up with the customer on that.

I appreciate your help with this matter.
