Feature Request - Forms Monitor Sort by Step in All Processes View

posted on January 25, 2022 Show version history

I would like to be able to sort by step in the Forms Monitor when using the All Processes View.  I have had several instances where a process is "stuck" on a particular step (such as saving to the repository) and no one realizes it for awhile.  It is not suspended, so it does not appear in Suspended Tasks.  With the volume of In Progress tasks we have, it is difficult to easily identify these items.

Which version of Forms are you running? "Current step" is a sortable column you can add to the monitoring page view, and you can also filter by current step in the Advanced Filter.

Running Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 11.0.0.537.

Current step is displayed in the monitoring page; however, it is not a sortable column for me.  Also, the only options available in my Advanced Filter are Start date and Started by.  I will look into updating to the most current version to see if that solves my issue.

@████████ Your version is totally fine; this is definitely in 11.0 and has been around for a long time so there's no need to upgrade for this.

I think the problem you're having is that the sorting and advanced filter options for some values are not available when you have monitoring set to "All Processes"

If you want to sort or filter by Current Step, you need to select a specific process first, at which point the non-global, process-specific, options become available.

Okay, thank you for that information.  My issue is that I have quite a few processes, so I'd love to be able to sort by Current Step in the All Processes view.  Because it is always hanging at the Save to Repository step (and I leave those named that way), it would be easy for me to see what BP's were having this issue from the All Processes view.
