We’re excited to announce the launch of a new certification series: Getting Started with Laserfiche. This certification series can be accessed in Aspire, and has an associated cost of $150.

Certification Description:  

This series is a great starting place for users who are new to Laserfiche as it will get you comfortable with the basic functionality of the Laserfiche Repository. This series is based on Laserfiche Cloud and the content also applies to Laserfiche 11.

Certification Objectives:

By the end of this series, you will be able to:

• Navigate the Repository, describe its features and elements, and learn the best way to organize documents and folders
• Identify the different annotations and tools available in the Document Viewer
• Compare the different ways to import documents, determine the best format when exporting entries, and choose the most efficient sharing method
• Use search filters efficiently and navigate through the results
• Identify the benefits of editing a document online, and describe the different options available when checking a document in or out
• Understand what entry access rights are and how to administer them in the repository
• Demonstrate your knowledge by successfully completing a final assessment that contributes towards your Laserfiche Certification

Certification Updates

This Certification has the following updates:

• New Structure – the courses contained in this Certification had already been published in the last months, this launch includes bundling the courses as well as releasing the certification’s Training Reference Guide, Introduction course, and cost-associated Assessment
• Increased flexibility – all of the courses are optional, meaning that users can skip the content they’re already familiar with and only take the assessment to become certified
• New Assessment – this certification contains one assessment; this and future Certification series will include a combination of knowledge and progress check exercises
