Can CMIS be used to interact with a LF Cloud repository?

Hi, I have a customer that is using the CMIS protocol for one of their internal system to communicate with their On Prem Laserfiche repository, and they are looking at the LF Cloud migration path...

Will it be possible for them to migrate from On Prem to LF Cloud?

... and their On Prem other system can use CMIS to interact with the Laserfiche Cloud?

Laserfiche Cloud is compatible with all existing client applications. However, Laserfiche Cloud does not host a version of the CMIS gateway for use, so you would need to host your own.

An alternative would be switching to the new Laserfiche Web API.
